Sutter Health Plus is excited to announce the launch of a new Health and Wellness site. Designed with members’ physical and mental health in mind, the site provides health-related tools and resources to help members achieve personal health and wellness goals.
In this article published in the March 2017 issue of Half Moon Bay Magazine, Sutter Health Plus is recognized as a donor of The HEAL Project. The HEAL Project provides health, environmental and agricultural education for underserved elementary school children.
In 2016, the health plan is donating $330,000 to 10 organizations in Northern California, ranging from health centers delivering primary care to the underserved community, to an environmental science camp for elementary school students.
This year’s community benefit donation of $75,000 from Sutter Health Plus will help the popular Fit Quest program currently serving Placer, Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba county schools expand into Stanislaus and Merced counties.
This year’s donation of $43,333 from Sutter Health Plus will enable The HEAL Project to resume the popular 10-year-old project that introduces hands-on gardening and healthy cooking lessons to hundreds of San Mateo County elementary school students.
Sutter Health Plus offers a Wellness Coaching Program to help members with weight management and tobacco cessation—all at no cost. Beginning July 1, 2015, we’re excited to add stress management coaching to help members learn how to deal with stressful situations, make time for themselves and much more.
