As we enter our 11th year in the market, our organization is now doing business as Sutter Health Plan effective Jan. 1, 2025. The name Sutter Health Plan more clearly and concisely communicates who we are — a health plan that is part of the Sutter Health family.
“We are taking a fresh look at everything we do, from solutioning through technology to our relentless focus on the customer experience,” shared Rob Carnaroli, Sutter Health Plan VP of Sales. “Our new name reflects our brand identity as a quality-driven health plan that’s integrated with Sutter’s local and connected provider network — from primary, specialty and urgent care to some of the region’s top hospitals that consistently rank among California’s highest performers.”
Today, Sutter Health Plan serves 120,000 members from the scenic foothills of the Sierras to the iconic Santa Cruz boardwalk — and many places in between. Our provider network includes 28 hospitals and campuses, more than 8,000 providers, and dozens of conveniently located care centers, urgent care centers and other locations.
Providers, brokers, employers, members and prospective members may still see Sutter Health Plus materials — such as ID cards and plan documents — and those materials remain valid.
