Members have access to the Member Portal where they can retrieve important plan information from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
A new offering through USBHPC, a subsidiary of Optum, is Ria Health — an innovative telehealth alcohol treatment program that uses medications, online counseling and support to help members age 18 years and older achieve lasting results. Ria Health’s flexibility makes it ideal for people with busy schedules, and those who don’t feel traditional programs or rehab are the right fit.

With technology imbedded into daily life, managing health virtually is becoming widely accepted. In fact, during the first half of 2024, approximately 11% of Sutter’s ambulatory patient visits (outside of labs and radiology) were virtual. Nine Sutter Health Plus network medical groups earned four stars or higher in quality of care or patient experience — or both — for care provided to patients enrolled in a Commercial Health Maintenance Organization, or HMO plan.

Recently, 13 network hospitals earned recognition by the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC).
